Spanish Noodles
This Spanish Noodles recipe is a hearty and savory dish, perfect for a quick, cozy family dinner. The combination of noodles, hamburger, and vegetables is filling and affordable.
Ingredients:
2 pounds hamburger
1 cup onions (diced)
12 oz. noodles
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 large can tomato soup (23.2 oz. or roughly similar size)
1 cup peas (frozen or canned, drained)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In large skillet, sauté the hamburger and onions until hamburger is cooked through.
Meanwhile, in separate pot, cook the noodles until al dente.
Add the mushroom soup, tomato soup, peas, salt, and pepper to the hamburger and onion mixture. Mix well.
Combine with the cooked noodles.
Put the mixture in an oven safe casserole dish.
Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Notes:
I’m unclear on what makes these noodles Spanish, but that’s what the recipe card says. :)
