Blessed Solstice

The longest day of the year always fills me with joy. It’s beautifully hot outside. We’re bathed in sunlight. The day stretches on and on to mark the first day of summer.

We have months ahead of us that will be filled with harvest and hard work. As the days grow shorter and we step softly toward winter, I look forward to the coming period of rest. The promise that things will slow. The assurance that a time of reflection and resetting is around the corner.

Happy Summer Solstice, blessed be.
